Out-of-Hours Security Restoration at Wingstop Metrocentre

Inspection found that the lock case had failed internally and the Euro cylinder had snapped. The damaged lock case and escutcheons were removed before a new Euro cylinder, commercial-grade lock case and replacement escutcheons were fitted. Door alignment was adjusted so the latch engaged smoothly, and the complete locking operation was functionally tested.

The rear door was secured during the emergency attendance, allowing the site to be left safe that evening. Moderate wear and corrosion to the door and frame were also recorded for periodic inspection rather than presented as an unreported emergency defect.
